Section 2 – General Conditions

localcleanersnearyou.com.au reserves the right to decline a job if the property’s condition, customer behavior, or safety concerns prevent us from delivering services to our expected standards. Any parking fees or charges required to access the premises must be covered by the customer. Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice; failure to do so will result in a non-refundable cancellation fee of $50. Payments can be made via card or cash on the day of service, or by direct deposit at least 24 hours prior, with up to three working days allowed for processing. Additional charges may apply if payment is not settled within the agreed timeframe.

Customers acknowledge that non-credit card content may be transmitted unencrypted over various networks or adjusted for technical compatibility, while credit card information will always be encrypted during transfer. Additional charges may apply for properties that exceed average sizes, such as master bedrooms over 16 sqm, kitchens over 12 sqm, or living rooms exceeding 27 sqm. Below-average property conditions, as determined by visible damage or excessive wear, may also incur additional costs. Spot cleaning includes up to five spots per wall, and further cleaning or full wall washing will require extra charges. Services like blind cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, pest control, and balcony or garage cleaning are not included unless specified in the written quote.

Our "100% bond cleaning guarantee" ensures a free return to address issues raised in the exit report within seven working days of the cleaning. Re-cleans require 24-72 hours to dispatch a team and will proceed only if access to the property is provided. Refunds are not issued under this policy. Please note that carpet stain removal, unreachable areas (e.g., high ceilings, inaccessible windows), and external areas exposed to weather conditions are excluded from this guarantee.

Carpet, Rug, Upholstery, and Mattress Cleaning

Quotes are based on standard sizes and conditions, such as master bedrooms up to 16 sqm or upholstery sections up to 1 meter with normal dirt and up to two stains. Additional charges may apply for oversized or heavily stained carpets and upholstery. While we use advanced technology and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed due to the material's condition or the age and nature of the stain. Refunds are not provided under this policy. For optimal results, we recommend removing furniture prior to cleaning; otherwise, our team will clean around it.

Once-Off, Spring, and Regular Cleaning

These cleaning services are quoted based on average property sizes and conditions at the time of booking. Properties larger than master bedrooms of 16 sqm or living rooms exceeding 27 sqm may require additional time and incur extra charges. Similarly, below-average property conditions may increase cleaning time and costs. External areas, ceilings, blind cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, and pest control are excluded unless specified in the written quote.

Oven Cleaning

Our oven cleaning service includes cleaning between glass panels only if they are removable. Panels sealed to the door or requiring dismantling may not be cleaned to avoid damage. The area above the grill can be cleaned if the grill is removed before the service begins. Unscrewing or dismantling oven fans is possible only upon inspection and at the technician’s discretion, provided it is deemed safe and compliant with local regulations.

Window Cleaning

Window tracks and sills are included in the cleaning service. However, if the tracks are heavily soiled and require significant additional time, the quote may be adjusted on-site.
